The Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Project, Phase II will provide an experiential platform for students in partnership with the Northwest Career and Technical Academy.  Phase II will expand the learning platform to include a full-size professional ROV, the BlueROV2, from Blue Robotics (https://bluerobotics.com/store/rov/bluerov2/).

The purpose of this project is to provide access for high school students to a hands-on marine technology project, utilizing the Pufferfish ROV kit from the MATE Center, and the BlueROV2.  The project will incorporate hands-on learning, problem solving, data analysis, teamwork and marine technology/STEM concepts.  It will also introduce an ROV pathway and curriculum for students and instructors.
